The ankle strap comfortably satisfies the demands of a very high instep. The leather is soft. Toe box is roomy. The style is super cool. It will be a winner with light wash denim and other summer outfits. I wear a 35 in dress shoes but ordered a 35.5 in this one to allow for thin socks. I would have preferred black but those were sold out. White leather MaryJanes will be a great alternative to athletic footwear in sunnier weather.
