Great Boots-
These boots are terrific- very comfortable, lightweight and great looking. I bought them to wear when the weather is sloppy and cold, but I may not wait. I took the advice of other La Canadienne customers and bought a 1/2 size larger. It was a good decision.

La Canadienne’s Evitta –
Good looking, comfortable boots that are also warm and waterproof! It’s difficult to find all of those features in one boot. Typically, I choose between dress boots (usually not warm or water proof) and ‘work’ boots (muckalucks! Clunky, but suitable for slogging around in the snow and slush). This is an all purpose boot that I can wear to town and to shovel the drive way.

My Most Comfortable Boots –
These are definitely my most comfortable pair of boots. Very good looking for a lower heeled shoe. I thought I might need a half size larger after reading some of the other reviews but my normal size fit just perfectly. The only drawback is the price.

Great boots –
These are very nice looking. They actually make my wide feet – and yes, thankfully Zappos carries the wide sizes – look slender. I wish they were warmer but I haven’t tried them with socks yet, just with bare feet. I’m sure with socks they’ll be perfect!

I bought this boot last year and was initially very pleased. I like a nice, comfy boot with just a little heel. The furry lining is fabulous! But, just be forewarned, don’t scuff the shoe. These were one-season boots for me, as the suede became scuffed all over almost immediately without extreme- what?- walking? They look 6 years old now with worn-through shiny spots on the toe area and on the sides and I’m embarrassed to wear them. They are great, but be careful! I guess I wasn’t.

These boots are extremely cute! They are also warm and comfortable. The oblique toe is great for a person with broad toes. I appreciated other people’s reviews on the sizing.
Judy –
The only boot of LaCanadienne that was not really tight in the ankle. Love it…very comfortable. I wanted a tall boot too but none would fit my calf which is 15-1\/2. Anyway, happy with this boot because they are waterproof, warm and perfect for Michigan winters.

Love these boots! Warm and very comfortable all day long.

A pretty design with quality materials; I especially like the reversible top which looks fashionable, and can be pulled up when necessary to be stuck inside trousers. Walking wise it’s okay for shopping trips which is on and off walking, but not designed for longer distance walks.

I love the look of the boot, they fit really well and agree with all of the reviews I read before I bought them! I am usually an 8 1/2 ad decided to go with the 9 based on the reviews and they fit perfect.

Zappos is the best. I don’t usually order on-line, however, with Zappos the merchandise is exactly as advertised and what’s better than free shipping/returns?

These boots are so comfortable. They look great and are waterproof. What else could I ask for?

I have a high arch and a bit of arthritis in the bones on top of foot, so I find many dress boots uncomfortably tight across the foot. I hoped the suede of these would be soft enough to solve the problem, and although I haven’t worn them for a long period yet, it seems they will work out. They seem narrow; fine for me, but maybe not for all.

The absolute best boot ever. Wore it in freezing Canada and on a 50degree day in Washington DC. Stylish and warm. Can wear with a business suit or jeans.

These were phenomenal! I bought these for our honeymoon to Europe (Paris, London and Prague). I wanted a versatile, stylish, cute but comfy pair of walking boots. These exceeded expectations. They went with so many outfits and I was able to walk 8-11 miles a day. It was also cold, 28-34 degrees, and these boots kept my toes warm. Highly recommend these boots. They were so great.

I am a Texas-based consultant with clients in New York, so I was looking for functional boots that would serve in both climates. These fit the bill – they are not too much for the mostly wet winters in north Texas, but they handle rain, sleet, and snow in New York without difficulty. Despite looking less than weather-friendly, they are legitimately waterproof. I accidentally stepped in a puddle that was several inches deep, and my feet stayed completely dry. Water beads and rolls off, and salt brushes off easily once dry, and the boots do not look like they’ve been through bad weather. Where the boot bends at the toe, the suede creased visibly on the first wear, but this isn’t a serious flaw and does not look terrible. These boots ran true to length, but narrow. They are also narrow in the ankle. I have very narrow feet and slim ankles, so this was not a problem for me. The footbed is cushioned more than the average women’s boot, but is not plush. There is not much in the way of arch support, but this can be easily solved with an insole. I wore these boots all day, three days running with no break in, and found them comfortable, stylish (for winter boots), and weather-effective.

I love these boots! I live in Arizona so I only get to wear these boots when I travel to a winter climate. I wore them all over Europe in late November. They were warm, comfortable and kept my feet dry. They looked great with jeans but could go with slacks as well. I am sure that they would look great with tights and a skirt also. They are not bulky looking at all. Even though I wear a 9½, my feet looked slim and feminine. If you fold the fur collar up and put your pants/slacks down over the boots (as normal), they just look like black suede shoes with a little wedge heel. I found their look held up well even though I wore them in the rain in Germany. Hopefully, I will get to wear them again soon. It seems like a lot of money to only have used them for two weeks so far! I would definitely buy them again, the feel and look are high quality.

My favorite brand of winter shoes. Very warm, cozy and stylish. Good treads to allow trudging over snow and ice. La Canadienne is the perfect winter boot.

Have worn these boots for 3 winters. Have held their shape and are as comfortable as they day I received them from Zappos. Feminine look with slight heel makes for a classy feel — either tops up or tops down.

I loved these boots so much I wore them almost every day for 5 week, then the sole became unglued from the rest of the boot. All that flapping around was dangerous and they became unwearable. Shame because I was otherwise happy with them. I wish I had read the other reviews before buying them. Same thing happened this year with the replacement pair except they became unglued at the heel. Not buying again. Apparently the wedge boots do not hold up.

Love La Canadienne Evitta boots. it’s stylish and comfortable. Best part, it’s waterproof.

I bought these for my mom 5 years ago and she wears them in the winter all the time and still look and feel great, so I thought I better get myself a pair as I will be going to Europe this coming Xmas. You can dress them up or down and they are water proof. Yes, they are pricey but you get what you pay for. These are my fourth La Canadiene’s, love this brand.

I’ve had several pairs of Evittas (have been my go-to winter boots for about 5 years) and needed a pair of new ones. Returned this pair because it seemed worn! The suede was partially rubbed off on the toe and inside of the ankle – the kind of thing that comes with actual wear, not just trying on – and the sole on one of the boots looked just flat-out used! Also, still haven’t received my refund and it’s been 5 days….

Waterproof! Snow proof! And stylish. I put these on and walked all day on a trip to Paris. I took sized up and can put 2 pairs of regular socks on. Feet toasty in sub zero temps in NY. I love these shoes worth every penny. I wore them with skinny jeans and with a skirt. Both worked but liked them better with the jeans.

I bought these booties sized up as I love thick fluffy socks in the winter. I didn’t even try them on and went to visit family in Europe. No blisters, zero pain. Fully waterproof. Worth every penny.
