Runs Small –
I’m anxiously waiting to get a size that fits. I wear an 8.5-9 and ordered an 8.5 thinking that this would be similar to an Ugg fit due to the shearling- but the shoe was very much too small. I’m ordering a 9.5 and hoping it works!
Great shoe though- the shearling lining is wonderful and the sole is so light- these shoes will pack well.

The comfort, craftsmanship and quality of this shoe is excellent, however I find it slightly prissy or matronly. It’s just a little too low-profile, which might be useful for some.

I love this shoe….someone wrote that you should order a size larger. I don’t feel it is so….
I ordered a half size larger and it doesn’t feel right… I think you should order the size you are….it is a great shoe…..I really like this shoe…it keeps you warm…and is comfortable

Not flashy but warm and comfy –
Super comfortable. Heel is just high enough for a “lift” and very stable. Your foot won’t wobble when pavement is slippery. Some day companies may make the lining of black leather shoes so that the dye doesn’t transfer to light colored stockings or socks — but it “ain’t now, babe.” Nevertheless, I would recommend this shoe.

Ordered a size larger, because I had tried on my friend’s who is a size larger than me, but it felt very comfortable with socks, so I ordered them in the larger size. Find them soo very comfortable, and able to wear them for a full day of shopping.

Don’t last!
Having worn these shoes for a whole winter, and seen how the shearling disappeared around the heel, not to mention the real instability of the shoe, I really recommend against this.
This is a shame, because I would love to have elegant, shearling-lined shoes that are not as clunky as Uggs. But the comparison in quality is simply too unfavorable for these.
Also, the heel is much too narrow–it is not difficult to make more stable shoes, nor do they become less elegant.

I wear a size 7 1/2 and I know from owning a prior pair of shearling boots that I have to go up at least a size due to the genuine long shearling. In this particular shoe I had ordered an 8 1/2 and it was too small so I just sent it back for a 9 1/2. The shoe is like butter! It almost feels illegal to be wearing such a luxurious, comfy shoe. It’s like wearing the most comfortable pair of slippers outside without having to worry about getting them wet because unlike UGGS they are 100% waterproof! I love them and I especially love shopping Zappos! They make shopping a hassle free experience. I recommend these “exterior” houseslippers. If your feet always hurt and have you experience back pain, you will feel like heaven!

Fabulous shoe!
I was very leary of ordering this shoe since I wear a size 11M, but I always wear an 11.5 in Mephisto and Dansko. I was pleasantly surprised when the shoe fit perfectly and is wonderfully lush to boot! The first pair arrived with a defect in the suede, but Zappos shipped a second pair immediately. These are perfect inside and out, and look nice enough to wear with wood slacks…something I never to with my Danskos since they are too casual. Nordstroms did not have my size, and with Zappos I saved on tax and shipping!!! Zappos even gave me a gift certificate for my next purchase!!!

NOT MADE FOR WALKIN G!
These shoes look great and are made with fine quality. Wore around house a bit and was so happy about them wanted to order in different colors. Yesterday wore to the mall for shopping…ouch my shins! Something about the way they are (? don’t know if it is elevation, type sole or the cut of the shoe) makes your shins hurt after about a block of walking. You can wear these to lounge around in but don’t plan to walk any distance.

They should skip the faux fur!
Wore these for about a week before the fleece on the inside of the shoe began to bunch. Another two weeks after that, they became basically unwearable because the fleece came off unevenly or balled up in clumps. Not what I expect from a shoe at this price. If you decide to buy them, wear them infrequently (NEVER two days in a row!) with socks and be aware they are at least 1/2 size too small.

The leather is gorgeous and the boots are well made, however, I found I wasn’t in love with the boots and, at this price point, that – along with fit and comfort – is highly important.
