Delicious suede, softest lining.
Beautifully made with the nicest materials. Just wanted more support for my high arches.

La Canadienne Trevis women’s boot-
Sole did not hold up after one season but all else was great after two seasons.

OMG!!! These are the best boots ever. Very comfortable, light weight, you can wear them everyday without any discomfort. Just love them. Very, very, very cute when you put them on, they will make your feet look cute, feel good.

I love these boots! I have been a fan of the brand for a few years now. I love how comfortable they are, and the fact that they are fully lined with yummy warm faux fur, all the way down to the toes! They are comfortable to walk and/or stand in all day, and they stay warm and dry, even in wet weather! I have narrow calves, and they are not huge, as some boots can be on a slender-calved girl like me. They work perfectly with skinny jeans tucked in. I don’t know how well they would work if you had large calves. They run true to size, and I never met a pair of La Canadienne’s I didn’t love!

These are a bit pricey, but boy are they getting me through the winter. They are rugged on the bottom–I can walk through snow and slush–but they are fine on top. I’ve been wearing them with skirts to work. They are also extremely comfortable. If you can afford it, I highly recommend them.

I’m so glad I kept searching for this boot, as they tend to sell out fast. It is perfect! I was concerned it might be too tight for my calves, but I found I can wear it up all the way or roll it down to have the fur show and tuck in my jeans. They are warm, cute, comfotable, go with anything and waterproof!
Thanks Zappos for your excellent service and upgrade on delivery. I received the boots two days after ordering. You and La Canadienne boots are an amazing combination. Six stars!

I bought these, my first La Canadiennes, in the late fall of 2007. That winter I wore them on a trip to Italy. I walked for hours over the cobblestones and pavement of Verona and Venice, and climbed hills in the countryside to the north. I walked in pouring rain and sometimes freezing cold. I couldn’t believe how comfortable these were, even brand new.
They kept my feet warm and dry. I have very sensitive feet and these have been great! No blisters or sore spots. They have decent arch support and the foot and shaft are both very soft and supple. They are going into their 3rd winter of heavy use and still going strong! With the cuff unrolled, they can pass for nicer casual boots with skirts or with pants tucked in. With the cuff down they are really cute casual, warm, snug boots.

I really wanted to love these boots. They are really beautiful, even better looking in person than in the pictures.
However my feet are slightly wide at the front and narrow at the heel, and I also have very high arches and some uneven foot pressure distribution issues. I ordered size 7½ in both M and W. I usually wear M and I found their M slightly too narrow.
I have the La Canadienne Kara in M and have no problems with those. I tried the W but found them to be way too loose at the heel.
Also the “memory foam” layer is incredibly thin and not supportive enough. For such expensive shoes, it’s a huge oversight for the insoles to not be removable. (And there’s not enough room to put custom-fit orthotics on top).
I am very sad to have to return them…some 7½’s are going back to Zappos soon. Hope they’ll make someone with “normal” feet happy.

These are beautiful, comfortable, warm boots. I love them. They feel great on my feet and look great with jeans or a longer skirt. A lot of warm winter boots look bulky and clunky and these do not.

Zappos. You are amazing. Delivery was extremely fast. Great quality, comfortable, good looking boots. However, the price is too high for casual looking boots but the comfort and weight of the boots is outstanding. Don’t regret it. I wear 7.5 got them in 8. Little room to wiggle my toes or wear warmer socks. (I have doubts about it, they are very warm and very cozy.) Love them. Perfect boots for Alaska’s winters.

Love, love these boots! So comfortable and so cute. I only wish they came in brown too so I could buy them!
I plan on rocking them all over Paris this Christmas. Thanks Zappos!

I wish I purchased 1 in each color because this boots is so comfortable but by the time I decided my size was gone. I’m so happy that I got mine on a sale price. Hopefully La Canadienne will have the same style next year.

These are comfortable, very cute boots. Not a lot of cushion in the sole, but still easy to wear. Looks great with skinny pants, or mid and short length skirts.

Bought these for may freshman college daughter going to school in MA. She loves them. Finds them warm, loves it being waterproof(!), and they are very cute. Looks great with jeans. Her big sister borrowed them over Thanksgiving break and loved them also. Not as stylish as some of the other La Canadienne offerings, but waterproof won out over water-resistent for practicality.

These boots are amazing! I ordered 3 pairs boots (these, a pair of Merrells and a pair of Northface) after much agonizing. I am picky about my shoes! I wanted warm, really comfy boots. After wearing the 3 around the house I by far preferred the Canadienne Trevis boots (of course the most expensive!) but they are perfect! The Merrells were pretty good but hard in places. The North Face were just not really warm and very hard every where. These boots are so comfortable, easy to slip on & off (nothing to unzip etc) that they make them as easy as my Merrell Encores to slip on every day, be just as comfortable but so much warmer. They are more petite and less clunky than every other warm winter boot I have tried too. Thank you Zappos for making it so easy to try 3 different kinds of boots and be able to find the perfect pair and then let me return the other 2 for free!

World’s most comfortable, practical, yet cute boot! You could walk for 20 miles with happy feet! It’s the best boot ever; it even passed the NW rain test! It’s warm, but the foot bottom does not have fur.

Love these boots. I bought them for comfort and warmth and that is exactly what I got. I am very tall and skinny and wanted something mid-cafe and not too big around, and these are just right. They are true to size, I can wear a 10 or 9 1/2 and the 9 1/2 fit better. They are not a wide shoe and there is a big difference in overall size from the 9 1/2 to the 10. The first day I wore them, I was on a walking tour for several hours and they were great!

I’m normally an EE but I loved these boots so much I went ahead and got a larger size just so I could have the right width. Am so glad I did. These are the most gorgeous boots I’ve ever owned (or ever will own, given the price). Total luxury and totally worth it. They look great with jeans, skirts/tights, and leggings. I feel downright chic wearing them. Thanks, La Canadienne, for having beautiful shoes and boots for people with wide feet!

Great purchase. All purpose boots, from walking the dogs to going out for dinner. Worth every penny.

I was tossed between Taliah and Trevis. I’ve been wanting a soft, plain, waterproof boot with a low heel for ages. I ordered a 9 1/2 Wide, which really is wide. I wanted lots of toe room and a roomy ankle, and space for extra arch support and thick socks, and the ability to tuck in pants. I’ve decided to also order a 9 1/2 Medium just to compare, because at this price, they should fit just right. So, to the difference between Taliah and Trevis. They have the same foot bed and sole and furry lining, so they feel exactly the same on. They are nice and soft so your ankles do not feel strangled. Trevis has a fold down top, but you can leave it up, but the furry lining still peeks out a bit. Taliah has a rim of suede around the top and slit in the back. They are both the same height. Trevis has lots of slouch which you can sort of move around. Taliah has no slouch, but is soft. The main difference, which is hard to see in the photos because of the black suede, is that Trevis has a seam all the way up the front starting at the toe and going up the front of the boot. Whereas Taliah has a smooth front, kind of like a cowboy boot. Taliah’s seams are on the sides of the boot, but Trevis’s seams are on the front and back. I decided I like the look of Taliah better.

These really are the best snow boots. I tried many others and come back to these.
I wear these boots with black over the knee socks and leggings or denim skinny jeans and look very cute. Throw on a wool blazer and outfit is upscale casual. These are great for Chicago type snow and walking and not sliding in the snow. I have a hard time with balance in the snow and these are great. I tried on Bajar and Blondo and these are still the winner for me. I prefer that the boots did not slouch down as much but, it is less noticeable with the knee socks.

great fit. can run in these boots or wear them in the office. always always comfortable and warm, even at 30 degrees below freezing. can roll down top in warmer weather or indoors. could use somewhat more arch support.

I bought these boots because I wanted a pair of warm, stylish boots to walk the 20 Manhattan blocks from Penn Station to my office in the winter weather. I was worried that if I bought a size 8, my normal size, that my feet would be cold. However, I read some reviews and asked a few questions and decided not to size up. I am so happy I took the advice not to size up and to trust that these boots would be warm. Last week was one of the coldest weeks in NYC and I walked to and from my office wearing these boots. It was a 20 minute walk and my feet were perfectly warm the whole time. Great purchase!

Favorite winter boots! Easy to put on to run out w my dog in the worst of snow. Keeps me warm even without socks and I never worry about slipping or sliding. And they just look cute.

These boots are well made and have style that can dress upon down. They have a comfortable toe box without looking like “comfort” style shoes. (I wear a regular width.) Excellent sole traction. My slim calves can have problems with the shaft on many boots but these work for me. These boots would accommodate a regular calf too. There is not much cushion to these boots but enough for me. All in all, these are worth the investment!
